Dr. Norman J. Mintz comes from three generations of family optometry. He went to UC Berkeley, the leading optometry school in the country. At Rutgers University, he earned a bachelor’s degree in biology.
Dr. Mintz has practiced optometry in Sebastopol for over 30 years.
An enthusiastic athlete, he plays softball and table tennis, and bikes and hikes regularly.
Supporting the Community
Dr. Mintz coordinates with the Lions Club, helping provide eye exams and glasses to those in need.
He has worked in several missions in Central America through VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity).
Doc has donated and volunteered for many local organizations, including Community Matters and the Sebastopol Little League.
